What to do if you are missing wall posts from your News Feed

A guide to Facebook News Feed settings.

Step 1: If you do not see Ravenskye City posts in your News Feed, check for hidden posts.

  1. Hover over "Feed" on the left-hand side of your Facebook home page, then click on the pencil and select "Edit".

  2. Verify that Ravenskye City does not appear in the "Edit News Feed Settings". If you see the game listed in the "Hide posts from" section, click on the "x" next to the name of the app and click on the "Save" button.

  Step 2: If your friends can't see your feed posts, but you can see your own, check your privacy settings.

  1. Verify that your default post setting are set to allow friends to see your game posts. Click on the down arrow near your Facebook name at the top right corner and select "Privacy Settings".

  2. Make sure that the following is either set to "Friends" or verify that you have selected all of the friends who are allowed to view your posts if you have created a custom list for it. For more information on customizing lists, review the help topic on Facebook's Help Center.

  3. Scroll down to the "How You Connect" section and click on "Edit Settings" to see who can see your wall and make sure that your friends have permission to view all of your wall posts.

  4. Confirm that the "Who can post to your wall" setting is either set to "Friends" or includes the appropriate friends lists. Click on the "Done" button to return to the "Privacy Settings" page.

  5. Click on "Edit Settings" link in the "Apps and Websites" section.

  6. Click on the "Edit Settings" button near the "Apps you use" section.

  7. Find the game on that list and click on "Edit".

  8. Make sure that the feed posting permissions are correct by clicking on the button in the "App activity privacy" section. Verify that it's set to "Friends", or applicable friends lists.

Step 3: If you can't see your own posts on your wall.

  1. Make sure that the game has permissions to post to your wall.

  2. If you do not see "Publish games and apps activity" among the permissions for a specific app, try removing the app (this will not cause you to lose any of your game progress) and add it again by going to the app's page: http://apps.facebook.com/ravenskyecity/ 
  3. Click on the "Allow" button when prompted at the authentication dialog screen.
